Why it matters
Dietary capsaicinoids may help mitigate the compensatory drops in metabolic rate and surges in appetite that commonly hinder long-term weight-loss efforts.

The abstract presents a qualitative narrative overview without specific numerical data, effect sizes, or a systematic search methodology. The long-term safety and sustained real-world efficacy of regular capsaicinoid consumption remain unestablished.
