It reviewed the roles of chemical parameters (pH, buffer capacity, titratable acidity, viscosity, and ion concentrations of calcium, phosphate, and fluoride), drinking behaviors (such as swishing drinks), and summarized dietary risk and protective factors identified in recent literature.
