Authors conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) evaluating the impact of cognitively stimulating activities (CSA) on global cognitive functioning in older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). CSA produced a statistically significant improvement in cognitive function compared to controls (SMD = 0.798, 95% CI: 0.510–1.085, p = 0.001).
